Alex and Posey and I hunted at Charlton on a cold December morning near the end of 2012. We had to break ice to set the decoys. Heavy fog until 10 kept it pretty hard to spot the ducks. Took a pintail and wigeon drake at the blind and then jumped a hen wigeon on the pond. Not too bad for slow conditions, and considering we had other opportunities at birds that we either flared off or missed, it was a pretty good day. Hard to believe duck season would end in less than a month!
